This program is designed to introduce you to the basics of instrument flying. The ground portion is an overview of the basics on controlling the aircraft by reference to instruments. It will start with a review of basic attitude flying. Then new material, tracking, intercepting and holding to get you prepared for the approach. Once you have accomplished that, flying the approach.
The simulator and flight session you will be practicing what you have reviewed and learned in the ground sessions.
This is also a great way to get more proficient and learn the ways of the Air Traffic Control system which is available to you as a VFR pilot.
